About Us
IDEAS Committee stands for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Anti-Racism and Social Justice. Established in February 2021, the committee members came together to make a departmental effort towards diversity and inclusive excellence in unison with the mission of the UC Irvine School of Medicine.
The department of neurology under the leadership of its chair, Dr. Claire Henchcliffe, decided to take an active role in furthering the UCI School of Medicine’s commitment to inclusive excellence.
